FINDING YOUR SIZE - HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF AT HOME

Knowing how to measure yourself properly can make all the difference to what size your lingerie needs to be, and what will fit you best. Because we all have different shape and fullness in our breasts, it's best to wear an unlined, non-padded bra when measuring. If you don't have a tape measure at home it's ok. You can easily measure yourself with a household item like a piece of string or ribbon (non-stretchy). Then measure the ribbon on a ruler or builders tape measure to get the length in cm.

BAND MEASURMENT

Place the tape measure around the rib cage, directly under the bust and keep it level across your back. You should be able to get one to two fingers under the tape measure. This measurement will give you the corresponding band size. If you like a loose band we recommend you go for the bigger size. If you like a tighter band, we recommend you size down.

BUST MEASUREMENT
Place the tape measure loosely over the fullest part of the bust, making sure the tape is level around the body. Take a deep breath in and out to make sure the tape isn’t too tight. This measurement will give you your cup size. You may fall across two cup sizes. Choose your size based on the kind of fit you like - go for the bigger size if you like a softer band, or the smaller size if you like a firmer fit.

THE BAND
The band provides most of the support for your breasts. It should sit level all the way around your back to your ribcage without riding up, constricting or moving. If you decide to go down a band size to make it tighter, make sure to go up in your cup size - this will keep the cup size the same. For example, if you are a size 12C but you want a tighter fit, try a size 10D.

THE UNDERWIRE
The underwire is designed to shape and support. The wire should sit naturally underneath your breasts without digging into your side. If your underwire digs in or you can feel it at our side, your band may be too small, or your cup size may be too small, or possibly both. If that’s the case, try re-measuring yourself. If you just don’t like the feeling of an underwire try our wireless, bralette option.

THE CUPS & CENTRE-FRONT
Your breasts should fill up your cup but there shouldn’t be anything overflowing on the side or the top. The cups should be close fitting with no gaping of the fabric. The centre of the bra should sit right against your breastbone, but not dig in. If the cups are gaping go down a cup size. If you are overflowing on the cup, then go up in your cup size.

THE STRAPS
The straps should fit comfortably without digging in or sliding off. They should be adjusted so they have just enough tension for support, but not so tight that they dig in. Indentations or sore shoulders are a sign your straps are too tight and you need to loosen them.
